Our Equine Interaction program is designed to introduce people who can't ride to the world of horses

The therapeutic benefits of horses have been known by man for centuries and the good news is that you don’t need to ride a horse to benefit from their very special presence.
For our guests who can’t ride due to disability, weight restrictions or even fear, we offer “Equine interaction”
Come and learn about the horses, some of their history, myths and facts about horses in general, while learning how to safely handle these incredibly empathetic animals.
During the Equine Interaction you will be introduced to equine communication, how to brush a horse and how to handle them safely. See how quickly horses respond to positive reinforcement and body language.
Each session is usually around an hour, and structured so that each participant has time to ask questions and just spend time interacting with their chosen horse.
Enjoy all of this in one of the most strikingly beautiful settings in our country surrounded by mountains and vineyards.
The terrain is not tarred but is wheel chair accessible.
Cost per person R200, 00 per hour – min of 2 participants.
The spirit of the horse, is a magnificent teacher to humanity. In both their physical, as well as their archetypal form, horses help to bring us back to something wild and unrestrained, reminding us of a sense of freedom that many of us have forgotten. They teach us about honesty and authenticity, because they know no other way of being. They teach us about collaboration over dominance. And they teach us to respect and honor the unknown, rather than fear it and try to destroy it. ~ Tony Stromberg
